They threaded the pieces onto the spagetti. It took them 45 minutes (slow and steady workers). They were busy, happy AND so very proud of themselves!!!
Thanks for finding and sharing a great recipe!Audrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03747152761593144920noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7088307078686035467.post-84888944092629454772009-10-19T16:29:06.696-07:002009-10-19T16:29:06.696-07:00I had 3 huge zucchini sitting on my counter for we...I had 3 huge zucchini sitting on my counter for weeks. I was going to use them as autumn decoration on my front stoop, until I saw your post.
As you suggested, I went with the boat theme. and even put the kids names on the mast when I prepared their plates. I smashed califlower (like mashed potatoes) and served it underneath the boats on a platter with avocado shaped like fish!!
MY KIDS ATE IT!!! ALL!!! even the zucchini skin!!! and had seconds!

ps - I used taco meat that I had left over from the night before.. they had no clue :)Audrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03747152761593144920noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7088307078686035467.post-35021991805955227592009-08-21T17:51:34.882-07:002009-08-21T17:51:34.882-07:00Those are the biggest zucchini I've ever seen....Those are the biggest zucchini I've ever seen.
