2 cups ketchup
2 cups water
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 cup white vinegar
1 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons dry mustard
4 pounds pork spareribs
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and start your grill outside. ( You could also sear the ribs in a skillet)
In a large bowl, combine ketchup, water, salt, vinegar and mustard.
Heat your outdoor grill until it is very hot. Add ribs and sear both sides until browned
.
Place ribs in a large pan or casserole dish. Pour sauce over the ribs
Bake ribs in preheated oven for 3 hours.
Turn meat every twenty minutes and baste with sauce.
Serve with lots of paper towels. These are messy but soooooo good!
