After making the veggie tray I had tons of scraps. There were carrots, bell pepper, green onions, celery, and more. I hated to see it all go to waste so I found a way to use all of it. I put it all down in a pot with chicken and made a mean stock. I froze the stock in bags for future use and used the chicken to make a chicken pot pie. My recipe for that is floating around this blog somewhere.
